Counselling Supervision
I work using the Seven-Eyed model of Supervision. I am an experienced integrative counsellor with over 8 years of clinical experience and currently deliver counselling within a busy and thriving private practice and enjoy the freedom this affords as well as the diverse range of clients I come into contact with. I work with clients in an open ended manner as well as providing short term and time limited therapy.
I provide group supervision for counsellors at No 5 Young People's Counselling Service in Reading and provide individual supervision to trainee counsellors, individuals that are just embarking on their counselling career and more established therapists.
The core emphasis of my therapeutic approach is relational. I can provide you with a safe and supportive space to discuss and reflect on your clinical work and help you work through any problems, issues or concerns you may experience with clients.
As in my counselling work, in supervision, I believe the relationship you have with your supervisor is key. I therefore provide a free initial phone call, this gives us an opportunity to find out a little more about each other and what you're looking for from supervision and you can get a sense of how we may work together and if we have mutual availability. After the initial phone call, we may wish to arrange a first session, this is an introductory supervision session, in order for you to experience what it feels like to be in a supervision session with me and for you to get a sense of whether I am the right supervisor for you.
My practice is based in Finchampstead in Wokingham. I can offer in person supervision sessions as well as online sessions, depending on your preference. If you would like to find out anymore, please feel free to email or phone me.
